My BEC was scored 74, what to do? Should I apply for score review or dig into studying again?

Score review is a waste of time and money. According to my research, you pay NASBA to re-review your test (cost more than a retake), and it takes almost half a year to get back to you. Also, NASBA or AICPA I dont really remember who, said that up-to-date they have not changed any score previously given; Therefore, I recommend you to take a week to recover while poking at BEC materials. I am pretty sure you will recover. There is a saying that says only people who scored a 74 understand the feeling of others who score 74. I have been there, and I know all that frustration, but nothing can stop the clock from ticking.

I just received a 73 after getting a 71 in June. It really sucks because I'd only have REG left and now I have to keep studying for this terrible exam. Like Loo said, I wouldn't bother with a score review. I've never heard of anyone getting a score reversed and it would just be a waste of time and money. Just try and regroup and keeping moving forward.

Been there done that with auditing a few years ago when I first sat for the exam. seventy stinking four for my first try in AUD then i failed FAR twice with a 71 and 73. Had my son and I'm back in the game a couple of years later and passed FAR with an 84 on the “first” try. Sat for REG and got a 72 and 73 both times. Took BEC last week and i'm praying for a 75. These are the worst scores because they make you feel like you were almost there but you missed one or two questions that kept you from passing. WORST FEELING EVER!!! Keep your chin up. You understand the material, just need to hone it in. Gotta make it over the line. You will get there. Don't waste your time with NASBA.

    Hi thanks all.

Ok I would not recheck my score. But you know, my FAR would be expired in 11/11/2016. That means I have only one more opportunity to pas the BEC next window. If not , far expired, then I have to do two more next year, worse is that the format is changing now. So frustrate!

Thanks for your encouraging. I would recover from the pain and go ahead.
