So i am planning to take BEC in less than 2 weeks, i am covering B4 as my last module in Becker. I honestly, do not understanding anything in B3 and B4, cost was my worst subject in undergrad. The MCQ are extremely hard (only CMA can understand this), and i cannot remember a single formula to save my life.

I wanted to know how i should tackle this, as im trying to take BEC before busy season starts in 2 weeks.

I have not struggled this much for FAR, AUD, and REG as much as i am for BEC. Becker BEC is extremely hard, and undoable.

In my review phase should i focus on writing all the formulas down and rewriting them until i memorize it?

Planning to take in 2 weeks, and do not understand B3, or B4 at all.

Well, you won't want to hear this-but you have to know cost accounting to pass BEC (and IT, and econ stuff, and everything else in B5 and B6). Are you listening to lectures and reading the book? Reading the cost accounting part helped me understand. Julie Brown (I don't know if she is still doing a portion of it) was terrible so reading the book was easier.

I studied for BEC in less than 2 weeks. I just did a lot of MCQS and hoped for the best. Passed with a 75.

    AUD - 64, 80 Passed on 10/09/17

    BEC - 75 Passed on 12/09/17

    FAR - 69, 71, 73, 83 Passed on 06/10/18

    REG - 81 Passed on 09/10/17

do you think i can learn cost in 2 weeks, during my review phase.

i think i can review IT, ECON, and COSO and have a decent understanding.

But i am really worried about cost, since i want to start from scratch.

Rewriting the formulas from scratch every time you need them in a question should help you to memorize them.

    @RECKEDRACING

How in depth should i know the formulas for BEC?

For example, some formulas require mini formulas to get number used in the main formula.

Also, is a formula sheet given for BEC Sims?

Just like in AUD, you will get a list of ratios in the SIMs if they are necessary.

    AUD - 85
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 82
    REG - 78
    Ethics - 95
    Licensed in IL & MO

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

I tested Q4 and if your exam is anything like mine you will have trouble if you skip B5 and B6. IT was very heavily tested on mine and it was far beyond a basic understanding. Maybe I am too overly cautious, but cutting corners on CPA study is a recipe for a retake. Only you know what will work for you, but keep that in mind.

    Best of luck to you

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 92
    FAR - 82
    REG - 90
