Hi I would need advise from you.
I have taken BEC and failed 59, and 71. Both I used the ROger .
I am going to re-take at the end of next month. I am doing Ninja MCQs only since my roger expired. Do you have any other MCQ recommendation that I should add beside the Ninja MCQ. Gleim? wiley test bank? Please advise. I really want to pass this time. I am putting all my efforts. Please help!

Ninja has all the questions you need if you ask me.

I think it's times like this you have to step back and be very honest about what is going on and remedy those issues. You actually have quite a wealth of info about where you stand now.

What were the weak areas in your first and second attempts?
What are your trending scores both in total and for each section for Ninja?
Are those weak scores in Ninja aligned with your weak areas in your exams?

You heard about Six Sigma? If you go look at Wikipedia on that and then think about your exam from that perspective. Each wrong answer is a “defect”. You need to eliminate defects. It's relatively easy to get to 3 or 4 sigma, and finally 6 sigma is the ultimate. But manage that defect rate.

You might want to share what's going on here but please consider reflecting on what your problem spots are or methodology problems, consider talking it out with a successful cpa who you may know, then hammer away.

I consider MCQ a supplement to whatever videos, books, notes one has so if any of those are your weak link, that needs addressing too.

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 77
    REG - 81
REG - 1. Becker only - fail (forgot to study depr - oops); 2. Becker only - Pass
FAR - 1. Becker only - fail; 2. added Ninja Notes and MCQ - Pass
AUD - 1. Becker videos; Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass
BEC - 1. Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass

Hi, I Good morning. I will suggest to sign up for free two weeks Wiley trial if you are short of funds. Wiley gives full access to their content for two weeks. Practice each of those questions including TBS. According to me Wiley has covered IT very well this time. I bought Gleim previously. So, I don’t know whether they have the trial. But, Gliem questions are very hard. If you can do that, be fairly confidant you can do well on exams. All the very best.

@M123, i think my problem is not being consistent with studying. Study one day like 3 am and the next day, get tired from work and not study. I sometimes spend too much time on doing one mcq.. i guess i am so afraid of failing so i spend too much time on one problem. Some topics like IT i have hard time understanding and memorizing.
Also, my 1st attempt was all weak and 2nd weak was It, econ, and strqtegic planning. Yes, ninja does reflect the similar weakness. I am not sure just doing the problem over and over will help me to understand the problem fully. Instead, i am afraid that i am just going to memorize the problem and answer. But i do look at all other answrs and try to understand why the others are wrong.

@Nutcracker2016, thank you. I will sign up for the wiley when i have about two weeks left. My weakness was econ, IT, and strategic planning. May i ask you what material you used for FaR and Audit? Also, which subject did you add Gleim as the retake? Please let me know. I have failed FAR 61, 68 last year. Aud was also 68 when i took it like 3 yrs ago.

    Hi,
Sure. I bought Gleim first. Somehow Gleim professor teaching style doesn’t suit me. Then I bought Roger. The best investment I ever made. Impeccable lectures. He teaches from Scratch.
FAR- Total preparation -little more than three-month full time-Roger’s lectures -Watched twice
Test bank- Gleim, Roger, Ninja and Wiley test bank ( bought for $400 bucks for one year of access).
Gleim was very tough all MCQ were like paragraph questions.
Audit- First time- Preparation time around three weeks -Full time-Rogers lectures- Watched twice
MCQ- Mostly Gleim, Roger and some Wiley.
Second time AUD- Exactly one month full time( around 12- 13 hours per day) preparation for Retake: Again, watched Roger’s lectures from beginning. This time in the order it is. (I think that’s the reason I passed because second time I understood the flow of audit process)
Test Bank- Signed up for Trial access of Wiley full course for two weeks and again signed up with another email for two weeks, which helped immensely (I saw at least 7-8 MCQ questions straight from Wiley. Also the assessment question each chapter made me figure out where I was weaker exactly),Wiley test bank, Roger, and Gleim questions.
Gleim MCQ for FAR and AUD is little too much but their TBS is perfect for FAR, AUD and REG.

Thank you. My roger expired.. i havent got a chance to start Aud.

    Should i rebuy
    1) roger software for Far and Aud? Or
    2) buy offline lecutre flash drives for Far and Aud of roger. for mcq, i should buy wiley test bank or gleim test bank or both?

For BEC, i have listented to roger bec lecture and completed all mcqs and got 71. It is now expired so I am now just doing ninja mcqs. Do you also suggest to add wiley or gleim for more mcqs which one?

Also, in general does gleim and wiley give you the answer on each question? Or it gives all answers all at the end?… i like the one that tells me whether i did right or not on each question.. thank you so much for helping me and thank you for your time.

    I really want to pass…

You will pass. Do you have Roger Audit book? Don’t buy anything costly now. For BEC Ninja MCQ must be sufficient. Last time, I think Ninja MCQ did prepare me well, but I messed up in the third testlet. Create three different emails, one from internet explorer, one in chrome and one in Firefox, delete cookies and sign up for Wiley trial course . You should be good to for BEC in six weeks. All the very best to you.

Okay. I will stick with ninja for bec.

For Aud and FAR i have roger 2017 version textbooks. I want to watch the lectures again. For Far i watched roger lecture last year but i dont recall much. For aud, i have never watched rogers aud lecture before. Should i buy the offline lecures and watch 2wice as u mentioned. I have CPA excel, which incldues wiley test bank for both FAR and Aud. Maybe i should watch rogers lectures twice and go straight to wiley testbank. How does this sound to you?. Should i add ninja too on Far or Aud? Thank you so much……

One lastly, for bec i signed up for wiley. I think 2 weeks of wiley has only assessment questions..does the 2 week trial also have 1000s of testbank qs and simulations too? Maybe i am not accessing it right.

Hi, you are most welcome. Yes, you will need to listen to Roger’s lectures again. Yes, watch lectures and go straight to Wiley test bank. The exact formula I passed Audit. Ninja for FAR is fine. I had Ninja for AUD too…but it had lot of overlap from Wiley and Becker. My close friend has Becker, so I know. But for $47, it won’t hurt you. It will be a good practice too.

I will do both wiley and will add ninja on both. Thank you again for your precious time..

I will first watch all lectures and then do MCQ on all chapters. This way you be sure of doing all problems in all chapters everyday . Also, this way the material will be fresh in your mind.
