Taking bec on nov 30th. Going through becker mcqs a second time and having that sinking feeling that becker maybe wasn’t a good review course for bec. I posted about this before and now that im done with all the readings and mcqs.. it is supppppper duper frustrating that a lot of the mcqs werent covered in the readings. And the mcq explanations for topics that werent covered in the readings just arent enough. I dont know if wiley is still doing this but they had this thing where you could try their whole review course for 2 weeks so i took advantage of the bec test bank and the wiley questions are much much harder than becker questions and… wiley has mcqs that becker doesnt have so i really dont know if becker is enough.

for those of you that passed bec under the new format, HOW ..HOW did you guys do it?!

And i loveee Becker. I used only Becker for Audit. But Becker is terrible for BEC.

so glad I'm not the only one struggling with bec. it feels impossible with all their ratios and squeezing in numbers to get to solutions.

The most critical part of studying for any section is the last 2 weeks before your exam. This can really make a difference but you also have to plan for the test day and have a strategy so that you finish everything.
You are in your 2 week window, I suggest work on your weak areas and practice, practice, practice. Now that you have access to Wiley's test bank, utilize that and note those areas you think you are really weak on. You should be able to access Wiley study notes and videos and all that with the free access, so use that too. Answering at least 90 mcqs everyday, which you can spread out through the day should get you really prepared in understanding the concepts which is really important as this is what you need to answer not just the mcqs but also the tbs and written communication. Nothing can really prepare you for tbs. Just expect the worse and don't panic. Organize your thoughts, utilize the spreadsheet and/or laminated paper. For WC just answer in accurate but concise manner. Have a beginning, middle, and ending and check your grammar and spelling and you should be fine. Lastly, I recommend you do AICPA practice test. It should really help.

I just signed up for the Wiley free 2 week yesterday after reading everything on these forums. I am amazed at how many of these tech questions aren't even touched in Becker.
I used Becker for all the sections and I think they do great on the other 3 but man… BEC in 3 days, day before thanksgiving, glad I at least have the Wiley trial to review. Keep at it everyone

BEC definitely sucked, but I’m finding REG to be much harder! Lol. Let’s trade places?! Jk.

I agree that Becker throws a bunch of MCQ’s that were never covered in BEC. It’s really frustrating. Know Cost like your life depended on it and hammer out MCQ’s – especially ones with calculations.

Used Becker exclusively for all sections and have to agree I feel it could have done a better job for BEC.. the IT section really is lacking.
