I know this is repetitive, but how long would you plan on studying for BEC. I just finished up the Yaeger lectures, but I’m a little worried now that my test is a little over 3 weeks from now.

    Audit Passed
    FAR Passed
    REG Passed
    BEC ??

Everyone is different…it is more about quality of time rather than quantity. I spent 111 hours in total on BEC and passed last window. The key is lots of practice and realizing what your weaknesses are…

    good luck!

    BEC: 79 - April 2011
    FAR: 78 - May 2011
    AUD: 81 - May 2012
    REG: 79 - October 2012
    Ethics: Passed - March 2013
    I am finally DONE!

I was very nervous too, especially because BEC was my first exam…I think people tend to underestimate BEC, but if you prepared well, you will be ok. Just beware that there will be things from outer space on your exam, but that happens to all of us and just do your best to answer them…

i spent 30 hours… but dont know if that resulted in a pass our fail. i think another ~5 hours of review of things i didnt know would have been nice, but i didnt feel grossly unprepared.

    REG - 81
    BEC - 88
    AUD - 85
    FAR - 81
