Took BEC today. Thought the first test was extremely difficult. Second easier, 3rd marginally more difficult. Some subjects i skipped were tested. Wont make that mistake again. I know a pass is “possible” sure does not feel like one though.

How’d everyone else who tested BEC today feel?

I took it yesterday. It is my last part, with solid understanding of far, AUD, tax, I felt difficult and I only had 45 mins to do the 3 WC. I think the chance of passing is like buying lottery and win $1000.

When I took BEC two weeks ago, I started out with an extremely difficult first testlet as well. Second was easier and third was difficult but not as much as the first. WCs I thought were fair. I passed so I hope you do too!

I'm in the same boat. All of the formulas I didn't study were on the exam and I only completed 2 WCs.

The exam must adapt to your weak areas. The topic I glossed over was heavily tested. My testlets seemed hard, medium, medium. Who knows! Really hoping I passed, I really hated this section.

I took mine recently and I went in hoping IT wouldn't show up too much because I barely touched it but of course it did ( more than the proclaimed 15%). I felt very confident with everything else. First testlet was on the diffuclt side and had many IT questions. Second was much much easier, with only a few It. The third was like the first but a few less IT. I don't have a good feeling about this one lol

I took BEC today. 1st testlet was easy verging on medium. 2nd testlet was hard. 3rd was easier than 2nd.

Lots of IT and COSO like everyone commented. I don't know how one could prepare for those IT questions. I used roger and Wiley Test Bank.
The exam had a good balance of the topics mentioned in Roger if you extrapolate the IT and COSO.

WC for once was BEC related. Last time I got AUD FAR REG topics (complete BS) This time very manageable essays. I had 40 minutes which was way more than I needed.

Keeping my fingers crossed. If I took on Mar 10 do I find out March 21 or 24?

@KC22 exact same experience when I took BEC – glossed over the IT / internal controls stuff and it was half of the exam. I think most people gloss over it, so they might be considered “difficult” questions and hopefully you're fine!

Took BEC today. Walked out uncertained on how I did. First testlet was difficult, maybe flagged out 7-9 that I was not sure. 2nd testlet.. geez.. it was 2x as hard as the 1st. Flagged about 6-8. The 3rd testlet was medium. Some questions in the 3rd testlet were pretty darn straightforward. Makes me concerned. The 3 WC's were straightforward. Definitely felt like I accumulated all the points possible there. But honestly, I don't think I passed due to the amount of questions I flagged. I was hit with several questions on a topic I chose to not study. My luck, of course, I got like 6 questions on that topic. This sucks!

boy… that was rough…

first testlet was pretty straightforward.

second and third contained questions with rather complex requirements for completion… so im assuming that I got “difficult” testlets after the 1st

the conceptual ones required a rather detailed understanding of the subject matter.. so I suppose that's also a good sign that the testlets were “difficult”

I checked the ones that I remembered when I got home, and I know for sure that I got at least 2 wrong… not a great feeling, but it was the same for my other three tests..

I felt my exam was difficult too. The 1st testlet was very challenging and the remaining were medium. Some of the questions were foreign too. I almost felt like I did not study for the right exam at times. It was either I nailed the question or I felt like wth did this come from. I finished all 3 WC's so hopefully they put me over a 75. I honestly do not know though. Goodluck everyone.

WOW Did we all have the same experience. Some questions pretty straight fwd and others I got mad at Becker lol I left with a headache and a very pessimistic feeling. smh

I completed all the MCQ's on Gleim, and all the IT and COSO on ninja

with that said, I was still presented with new material on this test… and familiar material that was presented in ways that were not illustrated by the study tools.

questions also included some incredibly obscure facts that had absolutely no relevance to any aspect of accounting… so much so that I would be willing to bet a great deal that they were pretest.

one was pretty much like “which term represents the gravitational force exerted by the sun?”

same degree of obscurity, same degree of relevance lol..

For me I got around 15 foreign IT questions.
That I didn't waste my time looking for the 4 choices, cause the choices also are foreign.
I got alot of IT/COSO but only 15 where foreign.

Not sure how I did. The first testlet was easy with about 5 calculations and the second was no joke 17 calculations!!! The 3rd was half at least 7-10 cal. No idea what that is supposed to mean. I got maybe 5 IT QUESTIONS from the whole thing. I must have taken a totally different test than other people have. I feel so lost.
