I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not to include a greeting (Dear [Name]) at the beginning of the written communication and/or include a signature (Best regards, [Your Name or something else?]) at the end of the memo?

I use Becker, which does not include a greeting or a signature. But on this forum, I have seen conflicting responses.

I did since it's a memo so it has certain format, but I guess it does not matter much…

And also, if you did include a signature, how did you sign it? With the title given in the problem? A name? Thanks again 🙂

I signed it with a basic name that was not going to get tripped up on spell check (my name would) and used the title of whomever you are supposed to be per the question.. i.e. Financial Analyst. If nothing is given then just don't put in a title.
