    Becker Question –

Purchased full-course, but don’t think self study is for me. Past the 10 day refund policy. 3 courses and books completely unused. The only one I started is used up to chapter 2, but only underlined and circled as lecture suggested. Don’t know what to do with the material now, but I want to try another study brand.

(I am sure this is against agreements that I accepted for like sharing accounts and stuff. I just need suggestions on what I should do))

I'll buy the books off you if you want to sell it.

My advice: You bought it … roll up your sleeves and get to work. You'll be ok.

What other brand would you try where it wouldn't be self study? To that, it would just be a few days at best of in class or other type of instruction and they would give you material to review at home.

I agree with Jeff-just go with it-self study is better than an in-person class. You can set a schedule and hold yourself accountable. The only person you are cheating out of this is yourself…

I did Becker in class/person, all they do is read, underline and circle the same exact things the self study videos do. As a matter of fact they make the same corny jokes. Its like they study the videos and try their best to imitate them.

I basically converted to self study by not going to their classes and watching the videos. Tim and Pete are the best anyway. Just do it chapter by chapter, watch the lecture, take whatever notes and highlights you need and do the MCQ's and SIMs.

I personally thought Becker was great.

A bunch of us passed with Becker self study. I can't imagine anything being much better. Unless you are quitting the CPA process altogether, you'd likely be downgrading if you bought another review course.
