I know this is kind of dumb to worry about but I retook AUD on 1/13 and I felt like the testlets got harder based on how many I flagged in 3rd testlet. I didn’t flag one single question in 1st testlet and no joke I think I might have not missed a single question. .How do you tell if you aced the testlets?

If you go to the front page of the NINJA MCQs, there are AICPA moderate and difficult released questions. The only way that you might get some gauge of difficulty is to compare those questions released from the AICPA, and in the end, it is still a crapshoot and anyone’s guess.

Other than answering those questions and comparing, there is no way to know for sure.

You can generally tell if you got a difficult test-let. While, I think that the difficulty amongst the same test-let varies (ie. two different hard test-lets between the 2nd and 3rd portion, for example), there are definitely some dead give aways.

For one thing, you'll see more questions on obscure topics. Additionally, the questions will become wordier, involve more calculations, and be “trickier”. There will also generally be more “good answer” choices (ie. more possible plausible answers).

    Medium question:
Tyler is computing COGS on his BUISINESS tax return. He has electrical expenses of $400 and materials expenses of $100. He also gets his dog groomed at a special place for $2,000. What should Tyler report as business expenses on his tax return?
    A)$0
    B)$500
    C)$2,000
    D)$4,000

What should Tyler report as business expenses on his tax return?
