Looking for some suggestions on the method of review for FAR. This week I will have completed all the Becker material for FAR but I will not take the exam until early July (had to push back my original date). I typed all the ninja notes and first was going to go back through the becker book and becker flashcards and incorporate those concepts into my notes, then being doing the mock exams and MCQS. Is this a good review strategy?? Looking for suggestions because this will be my first exam.

I supplemented with Ninja for my review, so once I was done with Becker, I jumped into Ninja MCQ, I did all new ones first, until I have done them all, then I did missed since last time seen, then I did random sets of 30 to 50. Once I felt like I started feeling like I had enough of Ninja, I would jump into Becker and do progress tests on each chapter, different sets of chapters, etc.-that kept material fresh in my head. all the while I would read my notes, go back to the Becker book if I hit a wall with the material and I also made sure to do SIMS, according to the AICPA blueprint (search for FAR SIMS straight from AICPA blueprint on here, you won't be sorry!). Toward the end I lived between MCQ (both Ninja and Becker), SIMS and actually skills practices to hone in on JEs and other concepts. Good luck!

Final review is essentially identifying weak areas and strengthening them, then identifying more weak areas and strengthening those until you don't have any weak areas. So do the mock exam and find out what areas you struggled on. Re-read one of those chapters, do a bunch of MCQ's/sims from that chapter until you feel confident, then repeat with other weak chapters. Best of luck.
