Big 4 hiring process

I recently had an interview with a big 4 recruiter, and I’m looking for insight to the hiring proces. I had my resume forwarded to the recruiter from a referral, and I immediately got an interview. I felt the interview went well. It was more laid back than expected, but said she liked my skill set so I was a little encouraged. Since there were still a few Summer/Fall 2016 openings, she told me to formally submit an application online and that she’d be in touch next week. She ended up contacting me to ask something about my credits and again, she said she’d be in touch. It’s now been almost two weeks. Does it usually take this long to get an office interview, or have I pretty much been rejected?

If you're confident in your interview and you have a referral I wouldn't be too worried. What'd she think about your credits? A lot of larger firms won't hire you if you have <150 credit hours (if required for licensing by your state).

My transcript showed that I was 9 credits short of 150. I'm currently taking courses and will have them complete prior to starting. We discussed that it in interview, but I think she wanted to verify that.
