    I helped out the virtual interviews (for campus hires). My firm did virtual interviews to all candidates except the candidates from one or two schools. So virtual interview is very normal. Before you start interviewing with partner, you may have a chance to test your audio and video and talk to staffs. That's what I did to help out the nervous candidates. Good luck.

    Do they usually invite you to the office if you do well?

    @Painted_Jeans,
    Virtual interviews are very normal, especially for candidates that live far away from the job. Treat it as you would any other interview (dress professional, etc.) and you should be fine. If you have a chance, test your equipment (webcam, microphone, etc) with a friend or family member off-location to check its functionality (preferably on whatever medium they will be using- skype, etc). Lastly, just make sure you will be in a noise and distraction-free zone, and that your background looks professional.
    I think if they like your interview, one of three things will happen next,
    1.) They may request an in-person interview
    2.) They may request a second virtual interview with more partners/directors
    3.) They may offer you the job

    -Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
