    Hi Guys,

I started at a big four for 2 + years (1.5 year ago) thought I could make a good move into industry, but industry has not quite lived up to hype. Recently, I have accepted a position with a very small local CPA firm. However, as the saying goes follow your heart. I quit right before busy season (big four firm) and was wondering if a return to my old big four firm would be welcomed or looked down upon. I would have more experience (with a local CPA firm of course) but truth is nothing beats big four experience. I geninuely miss the pople I worked for even with all the Egos and was hoping to return later in the year with my CPA. jUST WANTED TO GET a feel for what people think. I will be older 27 later in the year but I miss my firm.

    Thanks

It happens all the time. As long as you did not leave on bad terms. I worked at a Big 4 for 2.5 years left for private and realized I missed being in public. Went back to a top 10 firm and then eventually went back to private.
