Hi guys this my fist post here

I have approved to sit for the CPA exam in CA, and I will sit for FAR and BEC in august 2010.

my problem is now I want to select the other two exams so I can sit for them in the next window.

So I have created the ($100 Fee for First-time Applicants) instead of the ($50 Fee for Repeat Applicants ) is this okay?? and is it going to affect my current application.

All I want to do is to pay for the other two exams that I didn’t pay for.

I’m very concern

Please reply me as soon as possible.

Well I'm hoping that due to the extended score release, the volume of applicants is lower than it would otherwise be and I can be licensed in 2 months

@NeedsA75, I checked my syllabus and mailbox. I took the final on 12/14 and ordered my transcript on 12/21. Hope this helps.

I contacted Lisa Drake to see if she could estimate when she would submit final grades. She said she is submitting them on Monday but that it takes 3 weeks for them to post to your transcript?

Does that seem excessively long to anyone else? I thought grades would be posted to our transcript by Monday at the latest. What the heck?

You need to contact the school to ask them when they would appear on the transcript. But I'm almost positive it should be when the final grades are released, it SHOULD appear on your transcript when you order them.

I think she may be referring to the routine ones, which are free. The priority ones take $14, which is honestly pretty cheap actually (they also don't have overnight).

EDIT: I have called and confirmed with registration. As long as when you click on finals grades on myportal, and your spring semester grades appear there, it will appear on your transcript.

I pre-ordered my transcript (it is on hold until final grades post) and paid $10 plus a $2 processing fee….So its not the $14 option from your link but it also wasn't free.

I just wanna be able to send in my damn application sooner than later

@hasy is right. When your grade appears on your portal, it should be posted. I requested my official transcript when I saw my grade on my portal.

And it sounds like it should only take up to a week for the grade to post to the portal (and therefore transcript), not the 3 weeks quoted by Prof. Drake

Update on the Foothill registration… So I emailed all three summer instructors and all three replied with, “try registering in fall then.” I clearly told them I can't register because the courses are full by the time my registration opens. It's almost like they didn't read my email.

I then wrote the department chair, but he hasn't replied (not so sure he will). I'm really dissatisfied with their responses and handling of the situation. So… I registered at UCLA extension. Took 5 minutes and I'm registered. Granted, it's about 7x more expensive, but at least I don't get a run-around.

I also took the ethics class from UCLA Extension. I know it costs several times more than the other schools, but the efficiency of their system was worth it because I wanted to get licensed ASAP. Aside from getting into the class right away, I was also able to submit my transcripts to the CBA less than a week from when the class ended.

based on ultrarunner's experience, it sounds like our final grades should be posted next week which is fairly consistent with the UCLA extension program.

I'll be honest, I'm surprised to hear about the issues registering at foothill. I literally had zero problems registering with them and I didn't have an early registration date by any means

Yeah… I'm kind of anal as far as being on top of things and making sure I'm where I need to be. I usually sit and hit refresh about 3 minutes before my registration time so I can register the second my window is open. These past three terms (Spring, Late Spring, Summer), the course AND waitlist have been maxed hours before my registration. Frustrating.
