    Hi There,

I am a Canadian CPA. In order to get my US CPA license, I am required to write the REG exam. The last couple of months have involved forgetting everything I know about Canadian tax rules in order to cram US tax concepts – this has been very challenging given the differences in our corporate tax rules, cap gains or losses, phase-out’s etc etc.

My question is – how much of the exam is comprised of the non-tax areas (blaw etc.) I feel like by module 7 I mdoing 300+ practice questions of which maybe 30-40% of information I will retain in the following week. Is it worth going back and trying to memorize the rest or should I focus on the tax concepts in more detail? I am writing the exam in two weeks.

@sok543 BLaw comprises of 20% and Tax makes up 80% of the exam. While you should definitely be focusing majority of attention towards Tax, don't ignore BLaw. Those are some easy points right there!

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 83
    REG - 78
    Ethics - 97
