    Hi Everyone,

I am scheduled to take AUD on 7/11/17 which is the same date as my NTS exprired. I don’t think I am able to pass it because my work hour has been insanely long lately. I need one more month of studying.

However, because of the new releasing score date got pushed to Sept 22 for Q3. I don’t want to take the risk to just go take the exam and reapply it after score release on Sept 22. So I am thinking to cancel or “no show” to my scheudled exam date, and reapply a new NTS and sit for the same test window in Q3.

Does anyone have any insight about: what is the different below cancel and no show? should I cancel or no show? I am Ok with paying cancellation fee as long as I get to sit for the exam in the same test window in Q3. I am in California.

Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.

A no show will result in you not being able to schedule the test in the same window. You will need to cancel at least 24 hours (check me on this because it might be 48) in order to be able to take the test in the same window. Also, you will need to wait until your current NTS expires before you can apply for your next NTS for the same section.

I did the same thing. My NTS expired on 7/01/17 and I was literally on my way to the testing site and decided at the last minute to cancel. Via a no show to save myself the grief and wanted to be more than ready due to the wait time. I felt ready but just needed another 2 weeks. So I'm reapplying.

The no-show NTS will let you reapply for a new NTS to take the test on the same window. Believe me, I literally had this same scenario last year.

    Good luck!
