    Hey guys,

    So my manager asked me to think of some ideas regarding my career development plan for this year. I am a staff accountant of 2 years. Handling AP and month end responsibilities primarily. I did not have a “goal” per say in mind. But since the manager is asking I feel that I should come up with something, can you guys suggest some ideas where a staff accountant typically focus?

    Your manager should help you on identifying what you need to develop on before you are ready for the next level.

    Ask to be more involved with tax and audit stuff. Try to also be more involved with the reporting aspect
