I noticed with this score release that there’s a whole lot of people who are done with the exams! This is amazing. This trip has been fun, and I can’t believe it’s over, but I am so glad I’m going to have my life back. I will have weekends where I can do whatever I want now! I landed a job too, and I start Monday.
To those of you who aren’t there yet. Keep walking. Don’t stop and don’t give up. Once Solomon was given a ring, upon which was inscribed a message that could take away all the joys or sorrows of the world. The words roughly translated as, “This too shall pass.” What you’re doing now seems all encompassing to your world, but looking back over the course of your life, it’ll likely appear a tiny blip on your radar. This day has been mixed for me. I’m excited that I passed, but my father-in-law’s cancer isn’t responding to treatment the way the doctors wanted it to and the prognosis isn’t that great. So today has been a little bit of a rollercoaster for me. When you’re down because you failed, remember, it’s just a test. You can take it again, as many times as you want. Which makes me recall a funny little thing my grandfather used to say. I grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and he told me when I was learning to drive that “You can go down a mountain too slow as many times as you want. You can only go down a mountain too fast, once.” Words to live by.
Life is too short to be anything but happy.
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it.” -Ferris Bueller

REG - 88I've found an anomaly in the Space-Time Continuum. NASBA and the AICPA are in the 19th century. They use slide rules to score the exam, and then they send the scores by Pony Express to the State Boards. That's why it takes so long for them to do a score release.
