With continuous testing being granted starting July 1, 2020, do you guys think they’ll make the tests harder than it is now? Just a thought. I’d like to get some opinions.

    BEC - 78

No the frequency in which we are allowed to take it does not impact the difficulty of the exams in my opinion

    REG: 73, 76

    AUD: 63, 61, 72, 78

    FAR: 63, 73, TBD

    BEC: 62, TBD

Agreed with Kay. Most people were already circumventing the quarterly blackout period by taking their exams during the last week of the open testing window. If they failed, they would simply reapply to take it as early as possible in the next testing window which, depending on availability at your local prometric center, could be only 4 weeks away. Case in point, I'm re-studying for my FAR retake right now to retest on April 17, I took the test March 9 and found out my score on March 18 (Basically a month from when I found out I failed). Some people would immediately retake it, especially if they missed it by a couple of points, thinking they would only need to gain those few points missed but that would be a BIG mistake. You have to restudy everything since you will receive a completely difference test emphasizing different things on your retake.

    FAR-Mar 9,2020 (failed 71), retest May 21
BEC-Passed(I had a few stops and starts because I was studying during my busy season. Lost track of my study stats.)
    AUD-Passed(8 weeks,1877 MCQs, and 38 TBSs)-Wiley
    REG-Passed(10 weeks, 2000 MC)-Wiley

Pdiddy I agree people may have had this plan to take at beginning and end of period but now you have the ability to get many more attempts at the same test. Not sure how many attempts you will be able to get in that 3 month period, but at least 2 and possible 3, correct?

I hope to see detailed explanation of this news. What about score release dates? Because we can't retake a section until we get the result.

    FAR - 73, 78 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 50 SIMs)
    AUD - 73, 81 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 40 SIMs)
    BEC - 71, 71, 74, 84 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 10 SIMs)
    REG - 84 (WileyCPAexcel 2,000 MCQs, 15 SIMs)

    CA Ethics Exam - 94%

    NEVER GIVE UP.

Continuous testing certainly does not mean we do not have to study. I agree with AndreaA, more details are surely to come. But hey, we didn't want to wait, we want sooner score releases, didn't want the blackout months, so now we have it. No more waiting, for now. By the time this virus is over who knows what we'll be doing. The cost of the test might increase, or they may add another fee if taking the test less than 30 days of results. Who knows.
