Hi Everyone,

I would request your help to determine my eligibility for CPA from CA state. I have done CA and Bcom from India. I think I might fall short of around 20-25 credits. Are there any short term courses that I can take?

Also, does it make any difference if I apply from another state though I am based out of San Jose and plan to work here only.

I am in the Bay Area, too. For eligibility to sit you need 24 units of accounting specific courses and 24 “business” courses which are a wide variety of different classes. You also need a Bachelors degree. To get licensed you will need 150 units, but not to sit.
