CPA Exam Transfers

I am getting concerned/confused after reading an article about the difficulty of transferring scores.

I am sitting as a CPA candidate in KY although I live in Indiana. I haven’t yet passed (72 first try FAR, retake hopefully August), but what happens if we move to another state?

If I pass part, but not all, will the scores transfer states or do I have to start all over?
If I pass all before moving, will my scores transfer?
Once one passes all, does the work requirement start immediately? What if one doesn’t have a job/can’t find a job? What happens?

So I assume since you're taking the exams as a KY candidate that you intend to move to KY? Generally, other states will accept scores if they don't suspect you were taking another state to dodge sitting requirements. For example, if you took the exams in a state that only requires 120 to sit to avoid a 150-hour requirement, you might have some problems. It's best to take the exams in whatever state you wish to be licensed in, but obviously the future can't always be predicted. As for the work experience, Kentucky is one of the few states in which exam scores DO expire. You have to obtain the 1 year work experience within 5 years of passing the last exam.

I'm not from Indiana, and moved here the last week of my Master's program from another state. I have the 150 credits. Indiana didn't accept them all as they were and recommended I contact KY. I didn't think of it as dodging requirements, especially since all the states have different requirements, and since I have 150. My spouse's work moves us around so it's hard to know where I would work, which is my concern.
