Wiley Question –

I’ve been trying to study for FAR but CPAexcel seems to be down a lot lately. Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing similar frustrations?

Yes, it's been happening to me for the last couple of weeks. Started two days before my BEC Exam, I called and they reset my account. It fixed it temporarily, but has been happening again this week.

Yeap, I sent a very angry e-mail to their tech support manager and here is her answer: “Thank you for your email. We apologize but, our site received several attacks over the weekend and our engineers were notified on their phones immediately. They immediately began to repair the site and put in place new firewalls to block these kind of attacks. We do not plan on having any further downtime. If you experience anything again please contact me and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”

The issue is that today it's even worse than yesterday, I cannot open it period!!!

omg CPA_chik, I got the same exact email. I was like “how are we supposed to study when there is no app, no customer service, and the website doesn't work?” lol they suck. I am done with them.

I'm using a desktop version which I guess I downloaded initially when I got the course from the usb stick they sent me. But yes, they suck, I'm not impressed at all.

I used CPA EXCEL to pass REG four years ago and BEC this past May. I think the program is good but it takes a lot of time to study. I have been impressed with Ninja Plus and Ninja MCQ. I have used those almost exclusively to pass FAR and REG (for a 2nd time). The Ninja Plus videos are old but most of the main concepts are still the same.
