Has anyone received the email about the credit extension??
I just found out that Texas Board of Accountancy has granted a three month extension to all credits that will expire between 4/1/2017 and 9/30/2018. Those Texas candidates have received the email.April 11, 2017 at 2:09 pm #1531978
Yes! Got it this morning. I am in Texas as well. Right now I love the Texas board for doing this! The extra months were needed. They had to do something though or they would have some letters coming in from others.April 11, 2017 at 2:11 pm #1531984
I hope my state follows suit because I have an exam expiring in November, I'm taking the tests this month and next month. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for giving the FYI 🙂April 11, 2017 at 2:12 pm #1531987
Seems like only Texas candidates received the email. I'm in Indiana. Haven't received email about this. I have emailed Indiana Board to inquire about it, still waiting their response.April 11, 2017 at 2:54 pm #1532022
Virginia, where you at? Don't leave us hangin!!!April 11, 2017 at 3:27 pm #1532037
Is the credit extension only applied to Texas Candidates? That's so unfair!April 11, 2017 at 3:37 pm #1532053
I actually saw on GA state board site that they are granting 3 months extension as well.April 11, 2017 at 3:47 pm #1532067April 11, 2017 at 8:26 pm #1532196
CT granted extension of all Q2 scores (extension form must be filed) to 12/31/17April 11, 2017 at 9:27 pm #1532223
Does anyone know if NY state will be adopting this?April 12, 2017 at 6:13 am #1532344

Very pleased to see an Auditing expiration date of 11/30/17 on my score report! Probably the best news I received all week! F U Auditing (and FAR) 🙂August 18, 2017 at 4:42 pm #1605483
Just received an email from California about my request to extend my AUD credit and they granted 90 days!!!
OMG I am sooo darn happy right now!!August 18, 2017 at 4:53 pm #1605495

Anyone from HI? I sent an email but no response yet. I called but the phone just rings. No answering machine.August 18, 2017 at 5:19 pm #1605525
@CristyLu11 PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU REQUESTED THAT FROM THE CA BOARD!
I need that 90 days to have another crack at FARAugust 18, 2017 at 6:58 pm #1605632
New Hampshire and still nothing receivedAugust 19, 2017 at 1:08 pm #1605932
@mtaylo I applied to Virginia this week as well. They said I should receive an answer next week. Crossing fingers.August 19, 2017 at 1:54 pm #1605966
That's great that Texas is doing it for all candidates. Ohio only review it case by case and requires the candidate to email their case to the board to be considered. So much uncertainty, sitting around and waiting whether they will extend the expiration date or not.August 19, 2017 at 2:37 pm #1605995
I am in Indiana as well and have not received anything. My REG score expires on 8/31 and BEC on 10/31. Taking AUD on Tuesday and if I pass, then no extension is needed. But if I don't that extension would change everything! Fingers crossed.August 20, 2017 at 9:19 am #1606379
Does anyone know if NY state is offering a credit extension?August 20, 2017 at 10:52 am #1606415
I sent an email to the board explaining my situation and to please grant me a extension.
They responded one day later!August 21, 2017 at 1:36 pm #1608921
When was your AUD credit supposed to expire if you didn't get an extension? I am asking because I just got an email from CBA saying the extension is for those who expires credits during the second or third quarter only. A huge disappointment since my credits expire in October.
Also, did you send an email to email@example.com? ThanksAugust 21, 2017 at 5:11 pm #1609053
I'm waiting to hear if WA state will grant my extension. I had to send them an email explaining why I couldn't pass in 18 months. It doesn't seem super fair that some states are granting blanket extensions.
It sucks waiting because I'm not sure which exam to be studying for to try to attempt Q2.August 21, 2017 at 5:22 pm #1609058
what about Colorado ?August 21, 2017 at 5:24 pm #1609062
Not sure anyone else is from HI but the Board sent me their decision regarding extensions. Good Luck to everyone!August 28, 2017 at 1:04 pm #1616997
Can someone clarify is the extensions states are offering are only for parts expiring in Q2/Q3? I am debating if its worth contacting my state (NY) to inquire about an extension. I have a part expiring in Dec (Q4). I was not able to test in Q3 since I was waiting on my REG score from Q2 and I did not pass. I took my final section FAR this past weekend but I am concerned about passing all 4 parts with only a few months left due to the long delay in score releases.August 29, 2017 at 12:04 pm #1617595
Washington State FINALLY emailed me and extended my score 3 months.
Unfortunately now there's only uh like a week in Q3 so I'm not even going to try studying. So I just have to re-take my most recent fail and then I'm hopefully done!September 12, 2017 at 4:28 pm #1624325
@natalierose – I still haven't heard back from them. I've called, e-mailed and left messages – it's like they've ghosted me. 🙁September 13, 2017 at 4:37 am #1624505
any chance that state boards will extend credits that would expire in the 1st quarter? Do people apply for extension via email?
