    Hello,

Been using Wiley for the past 2 years now and do not feel like I am improving with these exams. I wanted to gather some opinions on people who use Ninja and what has worked for them.

I have read a lot of good things about ninja and 2 of my cpa friends have said it is a good source because it gives you what you NEED for the exam and the MCQs do a great job in preparing you. One of them also mentioned he failed 9 times before passing and the only thing he changed was adding ninja to his studies.

Just want to know your thoughts and what have you found works best for you.

I would get ninja monthly and just try it out. You don't have much at risk for $69.

My .02 on switching is that none of them are perfect and you can pass with any of them. I have used both the Ninja and Wiley testbanks and they are practically identical. I can't comment on the book comparison because I didn't use either.

My frank opinion would be it has little to do with the material used to study and more to do with you're studying. I have no idea what your situation is but I know that's how it was for me, and maybe it applies to you (only you know that)? It would be easier for me to believe that I'm just not using the “right study material” than to believe that I'm not putting in enough work to pass. I had to kick myself in the butt and keep myself at work until 10pm for a few months once I realized this and who would've guessed, but then I passed!

I'm here to support you (seeing as this is the whole point of this forum) and remember, everything I said is just what is true for me. Only you know if it's true for you as well.
