    Hi guys,

Just looking for some perspective here. I retake AUD this Saturday and I just took the AICPA sample test. I did terrible on the MCQ’s. Granted there’s just 5 of them but I am really disappointed that I got only 1 correct and the rest were the ones where I narrowed down my options to 2 and ended up choosing the incorrect one. The simulations were just ok. I don’t know my exact performance because the server got disconnected right after I viewed my performance on the 3rd sim. Haven’t done Becker’s practice tests (that’s my plan for Thursday and Friday) yet but what is you guys’ suggestion at this point? I know I can do better than these 5 MCQ’s.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 83
    REG - 78
    Ethics - 97

    "Hard work, perseverance, faith, blessings."

In my opinion the key to AUD is knowing exactly what the question is asking you because otherwise at least two possibly three answers could be correct, but when you really understand the question you will be able to see that one answer is always “more correct” than the others. What I did in my final 2 weeks of review was to physically write out the question is asking me XZY thus the answer would be PDQ and then read the choices given. If I got the question wrong I would then physically write out- why I got it wrong/ i.e. exactly what the question was really asking me and what words they used. Yes it was tedious but I think it was what made the difference in me getting a 75 versus something lower. Good luck!!

And they ask me why I drink

    BEC 71, 82
    AUD 75
    REG 75
    FAR 61, 69, 83

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

Audit was hard to gauge for me. I was blowing all my practice tests out the water the week before I took the test, like averaging in high 80's/low 90's. I showed up at Prometric thinking I might make a 95 and ended up barely passing the actual test. It's so conceptual, which makes it easy for the testers to trip us up with wording. Just read every question closely, re-read it, then read it again. Make sure you understand what's being asked.
