Do you guys think Prometric has anything to do with the scoring process?

For example, maybe they judge you based on appearance or professionalism when arriving for your test?

Or maybe even the picture they take of you for “security and identification purposes” is actually sent to the State Board and if they don’t like how you look then they don’t let you pass!

I doubt it, but in this crazy world it’s possible haha.

My last exam I wanted to study the last 10 minutes in the waiting area before I went in to take my test, but the check-in lady wouldn’t let me for whatever reason. Then when I completed my exam, there were people in the same waiting area eating and talking with the same lady there.

Maybe she didn’t like me and has something to do with my 73 on BEC!!!

Well I showed up to FAR in flower printed yoga pants and a Slytherin shirt with some flip flops and still passed… So my Prometric lady was probably just a fellow HP nerd 😉

    B- Pass
    A- Pass
    R- Pass
    F- Pass

    B 10/29/16
    A 10/1/16
    R 9/2/16
    F 7/26/16

Doh! Like reallytired, I showed up to all four sections in athletic pants, a gray undershirt, and socks with flip flops. I figured that as long as I'm going to sit in a chair stressing out for three or four hours, I'm at least going to be comfortable doing it! I could not care less what the Prometric staff thought about it, and I have no evidence it had any effect on my scores.

Though, I definitely have chuckled over what the people at the NASBA might be thinking when they got my photo with the exam report and saw a disheveled bum!

To me, the lack of transparency in the computation of one's score is one of the most frustrating parts about taking these exams, so I understand exactly where the conspiracy theories come from.

Naw- I don't think they could without seriously jeopardizing their reputation/credentials for the facility. I showed up like 20 minutes late for my REG exam (oops..) and the lady was pretty pissy with me about it. But I passed that exam.. Although I think if she had it her way she'd probably fail me to get her point of punctuality across 😉

But who knows! Maybe there on some rogue ones… but I doubt it.

Prometric has absolutely no involvement in scoring the exams. They are just the middle man.

    BEC- 83 (April 2015)
    REG- 77 (May 2015)
    FAR- 82 (July 2015)
    AUD- 94 (August 2015)

    First try with Becker
