I sat for the audit last week. I think that I did very good on the first testlet and good on the the second and the third. Then the simulations came!!!! They were very long and different than anything I am used to, but I answered them to the best I can. Now I am kind of worried….What you guys think?

did you get a DRS? do you think you were able to get partial credit on the sims?

In my experience it doesn't matter if you do great on the MC if you completely tank the Sims…that leads to the dreaded 74

I think I would get partial credit for the sims, I dont think I totally tanked them. Thank you for getting back with me anyway.

Sounds like you you did fine IMO..

Just curious, what material did you use to prep? I'm taking AUD in 2 weeks so I'm curious as to your exam experience. Thanks!

I used Becker. Honetly it does prepare you realy good for the audit. I was really comfortable with MCQ, on the other hand i was surprised with the sims. Try to do as many sims as you can, not only they increase your understanding to the material but also you get used to solve them within the 15 minutes mark.

Did you use the AL? I know the search tool is frustrating, but it can help you to land a stronger in sims.
The AL saved my life in AUD!

I did not have time to do us it. I left an hour and half for simulations and that was not enough. They were the longest simulations that I have ever seen.

Did you get a document review sim?

What sucks about super long sims is that none of the practice sims get into that amount of wording and length. All the practice sims seem relatively short so when you get these monsters on the exam there is no way to really feel prepared for it

I am more confident on sims than on MCQs and thats why I rush through MCQs and then take my time on sims. For AUD, I had almost 2.5 hours left walking into sims and I was able to leave 20 minutes early. I am not sure if you have taken FAR before, but FAR sims are way much longer than AUD sims. After taking FAR, I noticed that REG and AUD sims were fair game.

SO true, and not only they are long, but also you have probably five other documents on one sim that you have to review and come up with the right answers for that one simulation. They were super long lets say the least
