Does it matter if I sit for REG in January or in April?

    I plan on taking REG in late January, and it’s not my strongest section. However, I have taken the exam twice before and I think I could probably manage. Someone was telling me how most tax accountants would prefer to sit for REG in January before their busy season got too crazy, and it would be better for me to take it in April to get the benefit of the curve. Is there any truth to this?
