I just got my score back for my final exam section and it brought my cumulative average to exactly 95.50. Like 95.5000000000. I passed all four sections on the first attempt. The AICPA website clearly states that EWS is given to those who score above a 95.50. So I guess I am out of luck, right? Unless anyone knows of any situations where I am not relentlessly laughed upon by the CPA Gods, I’ll resign myself to being a naturally lucky-enough yet just-unlucky-enough kind of guy.

By no means am I trying to make this a “boo hoo everyone feel bad for me” kind of deal, but I guess it just feels good to vent and get it all out in writing. I honestly feel more relief to be done than frustration to come so close. There are plenty of people who score 74s on exams, have credits expire, etc.; so for me to complain about something so trivial would be insulting. Let the chips fall as they may, I guess.
