So I took FAR back in December and scored a 56. I went through busy season this year and didn’t have time to study. I studied for about a month and felt very ready and took far a couple days ago. Now that I think about it, I totally screwed up on the mcq, but I feel like I did really well on the sims. I have REG passed that expires 4/30/19. Do I study for audit while I wait for FAR scores and take audit mid july and then rehit FAR? or should I hit FAR until score release?

At this point, I don't think it matters either way. Score release is only a couple weeks out. It may be nice to take the next couple weeks off and just lightly study FAR by doing a handful of MCQs a day, then after you get your score jump back into FAR or move on to next section.

    AUD - 80
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 77
    REG - 83

@pablo I took FAR on Monday and feel the exact same way. I thought I did well on the SIMS but a little shaky on the MCQ's. I only have AUD passed so I'm taking a break this weekend and then the next two just lightly studying items in FAR that I feel weak in. I'm not moving on to another part since we'll know our FAR scores soon.

For you, if you have BEC and REG done, I would keep working on FAR until you get the scores.

    Almost there

    AUD- 74 (2012), 72 (4/20/16)
    BED- 7/6/16
    REG- TBD
    FAR- TBD

it sounds like u work at a public accting firm, so you'll have another busy season coming up in about 7 months.
if all you passed so far is REG and it expires next year pretty much right after your busy season, u really only have 7 months to pass 2 (if you passed FAR) or 3 sections to pass.

if i were in your shoes, i'd be studying my ass off whether it's aud or far.

I would start studying for audit… Doesn't take too long to study for it and you could be almost done by the time score release rolls around on the 28. Then you could take the audit exam and if need be, resume studying for FAR.

    AUD: 95 3/08/18
    BEC: 97 7/03/18
    FAR: 88 1/31/18
    REG: 95 5/30/18

I agree with @anyatver. You should study for Audit and plan to take it next. You can always go back and take FAR if you didn't pass but you may have passed.

    Never give up!

    FAR - 84 (11/13/17)

    AUD - 82 (5/3/17)

    REG - 75 (1/27/18)

    BEC - 75 (4/29/18)

I am in the same boat, except I took FAR in December and Feb. I tested despite busy season and failed both attempts. To add insult to injury, I got the same terrible score twice. I took it for a 3rd time recently and planned to keep studying. Unfortunately, I have been so burned out that I have barely cracked the book. I will lose REG in Sept, and will lose AUD & BEC soon after. I need motivation, and that's a huge understatement.

    AUD - 80
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 83
    REG - 75
