Multiple choice was very straight forward. Difficulty definitely increased into the second testlet, but I still only flagged about 7 or 8 total multiple choice questions.

Sims were surprisingly easy. 2 research and 1 DRS. 1 Sim I found word for word right in the AL. I finished with an hour and 17 minutes left on the clock. I even had time to go back and check my answers on each testlet.

Now it’s on to my last exam (FAR).

    WTG Ndom1!!!!

I had similar feelings as you with AUD (taken Q3). I was a little nervous about the finishing early part but in the end it all worked out!

When are you taking FAR? I am signed up to take it on Dec 2. Lectures are LONG and I am losing my motivation I had in January when I started this journey. Keep telling myself it's just ONE more! But FAR just seems like an overload of information!

I take AUD in 2 weeks… any last minute advice for me?

I took me a few tries to pass REG, so I am really hoping to pass this test on my first try…

Thanks. I will be scheduling FAR for January. Glad to know there is another person on this world that saved the best for last đŸ™‚

Samantha – just cram multiple choice as much as you possibly can. Review all questions on cpareviewforfree and do the practice test on the AICPA website. The SIM's on the practice test are smaller bit sized portions of what you should expect on the exam.

I've heard a couple people say the sims were very difficult this quarter. Do you have audit experience or were the becker sims sufficient in preparing you?

    NDOM-

your experience is very similar to mine in Q3 where I got slammed with a 74. You mentioned cpareviewforfree.com. I am using that currently. How beneficial was that? Were the sims that easy? How many hours did you study and what materials did you use? I am just trying to get myself ready for my exam in NOV and any advice would be appreciated. Did the AICPA website SIMS really help you?

I actually also got a 74 when I took audit back in January because I just sat with only studying cpareviewforfree. But since then I bought study materials.

I used Wiley cpa excel and supplemented with cpareviewforfree. The AICPA practice exam sims did help a lot too.

I am a senior accountant with 5 years public audit and tax experience at a small/medium sized firm. So I may have had a slight advantage for the audit exam right off the rip.

I definitely flagged more questions in the second testlet. Questions got more judgmental based, so I want to say yes, it did get harder but I couldn't tell for sure. The entire exam was a cake walk so I guess I will find out in December. I am just assuming I passed though and moving onto FAR.
