I can apply the examination now!!!

If I apply tonight, I guess my NTS will be expired until the mid-December. This is an estimate based on what I read here. I want to take FAR first at the beginning of September or the beginning of October. Then I want to AUD at the end of November or the beginning of December.

Based on your experience, will this plan work?

I work full-time and will also take one ACCT course in this Fall.

Also, I am comparing Gleim and Wiley right now. I must purchase a review course by the end of this week.

Any advice and encouragement are appreciated.

It's ambitious but possible. How many hours per week do you think you'll be able to focus on cpa studies? You'd want about 20 per week.

@mla, I think I can have at least 2 hours on weekday and at least 10 hours on each Saturday and Sunday. I work 40 hours a week. Mostly I don't work over time. I would like to finish FAR by September because at mid-September, we will have auditors come to do our audit, so that I will be busy at work and probably over time.

I think it's definitely doable. I think the accounting course will make FAR a challenge, but if you study hard over the summer, you should be in the review phase by the beginning of September. I didn't find FAR too difficult (a few parts definitely were difficult), but it's so much information to get through. Good time management over the summer will be essential in my opinion.

Also, I think applying only for two sections right away is the right way to go. Good luck! 🙂

I like the plan. I applied two at a time. FAR may be challenging, but you could do it. The hardest part would be to pick a time you like. It fills up quickly. I would apply ASAP. Good luck.
