Exam Score Eye-ball Trick – where's the eyeball?

So I was hoping since I took a section this quarter that I would be able to use the eye-ball trick I heard about on here to view my score a little early on the 18th of September for my last section. However, when I log into NASBA, I don’t have anything under ‘score report’. Does anyone else have this problem? I’ve heard of people doing this so I don’t know why it’s not there. I tried two browsers, MS Edge and Chrome.

I've found an anomaly in the Space-Time Continuum. NASBA and the AICPA are in the 19th century. They use slide rules to score the exam, and then they send the scores by Pony Express to the State Boards. That's why it takes so long for them to do a score release.

The eye-ball trick only works if you still have a score and score report available on the NASBA site. Once your score and score report are no longer available on the site, the eye-ball trick cannot be used. Good luck!

I think there are some states that the eyeball trick doesn't work for. I live in Texas, so I get my score report through the TSBPA and do not have an eyeball on the NASBA site, despite having taken a test during the same quarter.

Had anyone had this work already? I just took my exam on the 10th. I doubt they've received scores this early. Right??

@Aphelps and @Dekota IF your state gives you a score report through NASBA there will be an “eyeball” to the right of your score. If you click on that you'll get a score report. If you have taken a section already and then are waiting on the score for another section, on the morning before the official score release you can typically click on the score report and it will say “credit” if you passed or “no credit” if you failed. Now, I'm in Texas so it doesn't work. It won't work for any state that doesn't release scores through NASBA either, so California and Maryland I think. Someone should compile a list of states this works for 🙂

@TheeAccountant Thank you! I did not know this. Guess I will be viewing my Score Report daily until the score release. Thanks!

I never got to do this eyeball trick cuz i've taken them all in different windows and usually the previous score would've expired before the new one. This time though! I'm gonna get to use this infamous eyeball trick. Super pumped 😀 right now it says “attended” soooo you guys say it shows in the morning before they release? if they release 9/18 7pm central that means i'll get to see it in the morning on wednesday???? omg

@Painted_Jeans as far as I've seen people post about it, it appears to work in the early morning hours of the day they release scores. So typically they release about 5-7pm CST the day before the “official” score release day, in this case the 19th. So scores should come out Wednesday evening (the 18th) and the eyeball trick should work sometime in the early morning hours of that day, the 18th. You could look late on the 17th or after midnight. I don't think they're available before that.

Another trick to know if NASBA received your exam records from Prometric is to check if your NTS for the section you just took is still available for download on the NASBA web site. If it is not there, it means they received your exam. Only open Notices to Schedule (NTS) normally should appear there. This gave me a piece of mind a couple of months ago when Prometric didn't give me the proof of attendance paper because the printer wasn't working.

    Hope this is helpful.

@Lwaddell91 I just checked and mine still shows “attended.” Worth noting I can only see the eyeball to see my score report on a computer – it does not show when I use my phone browser.

I'm pretty nervous too. I was not this way for FAR at all. I took the test and pretty much forgot about it for 4 weeks. I really do not want to study for BEC again, and I felt I received a very fair, passable exam. 50% done sounds so much better than 25% and 2 Q4 exams vs 1.
