Extension of CPA Testing Window – response from CA Board of Accountancy

    Hello,

    I am waiting on FAR on August 17th, which I took in May, and my first part, BEC, expires in July. I e-mailed the CA Board of Accountancy, and this is the response that I got:

    “It is recommended that you submit a repeat application and have the approval waiting. Once your score is received, you may submit a signed written request along with support documents indicating how you were prevented from testing for the CPA Exam.”

    Has anyone else received a similar response? Will anyone else try this? Does anyone think it will work?
