Hello everyone, I failed audit twice with a 74 (so annoying). I felt really confident for my second attempt and clearly fell a little short. I have Becker and used it for the last two exams… thinking I need to change it up.

I am taking FAR at the end of February and am attempting Audit the beginning of March before the end of the testing window, hoping to pass before the changes! This leaves me with only two weeks of review. I was looking at purchasing ninja notes and multiple choice. Any suggestions on a new study method or product to use would be appreciated. Also would appreciate any tips on reviewing for an exam for two weeks (pretty nervous).

    Thanks!

    It is Accrual world-

I just retook AUD on FEB 1 and waiting on my score on FEB 23. Sorry to hear about the 74. I got one of those on BEC. it feels like somebody ripped your heart out.

I used NINJA notes on my retake for AUD. It helps to some degree but you need to read them over and over. I wrote them a couple times too. One thing that really pissed me off about the NINJA Notes they did not put any examples of any of the audit reports/ review reports/ compilation reports. For that I just went to my Roger book.

what was your breakdown ? weaker SIMS? strong MCQ? etc

    AUD - 84
    BEC - 81
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - 75
    AUD - 84

    BEC-  81

    REG-75

    FAR- TBD

For my third go at AUD I got the ninja notes, and copied them word for word, ten pages a day. I went through them three times. Got my score from a 71 to an 84.

Look at your study habits, moreso than completely changing review materials. Yes,some people respond better to different review courses but Becker works fantastic.
Clearly some conceptual understanding of Audit is lacking. Work on that first.

Use Ninja – and if you can – Gleim for the SIMS. The stuff works!

@ItsAccrualWorld94 I am so sorry! I was in the same boat last year, I got 2 74's on AUD and I just couldn't figure out what was going wrong because I felt like I knew the Becker material completely. The thing that got me through was Ninja MCQ. I finally passed with an 81 last year in Q4. It helped so much because I was definitely memorizing the Becker material :(. Good luck to you, you can do it!!

Same boat, although not both 74. I thought I knew the material and felt confident coming out of parametric. Sometimes its a little luck. I got a ton of questions on 1 topic, though it wasn't a weakness but it def my strongest. Whereas, another a friend of mine got a mixture of questions from all chaps.

Best of luck to you! Hope you can pull off the FAR and AUD. Two in one window is quite difficult imo. Considering it is FAR.

3 down 1 more to go. BEC is on the Line 🙁
