False confidence

I took audit less than 2 hours ago. I made sure that I double-checked every single one of my answers for MCQ portion but

    1st testlet: breezed through it
2nd testlet: it did feel harder but I think it’s the way the questions were worded.
3rd testlet: can’t tell but similar difficulty, i guess

For all my previous exams, I never had the luxury of checking EVERY single MCQ again. But I had so much time for audit, so I just made sure each question were answered the way I wanted it.

I came into SIMs with more than 2 hours left…. So I just literally took my time and still had almost an hour left when I submitted my testlet.

SIMs: Pretty sure I got the research SIM (this better not be pretest), I answered every single SIM and overall, I’m pretty confident about my test. Like I remember even smiling when I got this SIM where I just needed to use the AL to look up the answer.

I was told by many to NOT obsess about the difficulty of the testlets and I’m not. However, I studied so much for this exam and I just don’t want to EVER restudy for it. >.<”

I don’t want to be stressed out for 30 days but I really hoped I passed. I was kind of excited leaving the test center because I thought I did pretty well. The only thing I was unsure of was probably the 2nd and 3rd testlet, but even then, I KNOW I got a good amount of questions in there.

Also, I was trending 92-96 in NINJA, finished ALL Roger’s, and even WTB (since a friend had it). I just want my confidence to be false. [pouts]

Just took my test today too. Felt pretty much the same way. When I passed audit I left with like 1.5 hrs left but the others were down to the wire so I wouldn't worry about that.

I don't buy into the “think I did well and failed and vice versa”. My tests have gone.

    FAR-Thought I did well enough to pass-76
    AUD-Thought I bombed-63
    BEC-Thought I did well enough to pass-75
    AUD retake-Thought I crushed it-84
    REG 1-Thought I didn't do too well, forgot stuff-72
REG 2-Thought I did well enough to pass, knew I forgot some stuff again-74
    REG 3-Just took it!

So it's kinda a crap shoot, but I think my gut feeling has been pretty accurate.

Those who think that they failed and passed are generally the ones in college who think they failed and get 90s

I had a ton of time left at the end of AUD too. It sounds like you knew the material really well, try not to stress out from now until score release.

When I had taken my Audit test last month I was smiling. More just cause I wanted to finish it, but also because I felt like Becker had done a good job and that I had a shot to pass, with luck. I was a bit worried because my first 2 testlets seemed “easy” and then my third testlet was like twice as hard. The first two testlets I finished in less than hour, that is how easy they were. Third testlet took me longer, but after my break (took 2 – one between 2nd and 3rd, other 3rd and 4th) I had a little over 2 hours as well. I ended at the 1 hour left mark. I wouldn't be worried. I was more worried the days after because of what you are feeling. I thought I failed because it was so easy. Ended up with a 78…so there is hope. This sounds exactly like my experience.

The research question is not a pre-test question btw. Only if you got two, one would have been. There is nothing you can do but wait. No use in worrying until the day the results come out (then you can worry your butt off). I have to tell you, passing is a great feeling. I had taken BEC and AUD last month 5 days apart, and when I saw I passed them both, I was beyond ecstatic. It didn't last long since I had to go back to studying for FAR but it is definitely a great feeling nonetheless. If you were averaging 96 and did all those questions, you should be beyond fine. I was trending 60-70's and passed.

I had over 2 hours left on AUD. It was the easiest one, and the whole thing felt like a breeze. Got >90 on it. Sounds like you aced it too.

I thought this post had died, thank you so much for your encouragement and reassurance!! I would be nice to know that if I had shot over 90 but I just want a 75 since I just REALLY don't want to pay for it again. Also, if I HAD to restudy for it, I would need to have another test bank or something because I finished everything else…. 😕 It totally sucks that it takes a MONTH to know your score. >.<“
