    Hey everyone,

I need some good study tips for the FAR section (Exam on May 31st, 2017). I use Becker. I find it hard to pay attention and take notes during lectures. Should I even take any or just read the red ones the instructors insert. Also, Is there any tips on how to best go about remembering everything?

Here's what I do. I'm maybe not the best example, or else I would be done by now šŸ˜‰

I take notes, highlight the book, or whatever during the lecture. Otherwise, I drift off cause its boring. Then, I take one page, maybe two, and rewrite my notes to summarize the section. I keep all the summaries and add notes as needed when I go through MCQs and skills practice.

If there is something that I just know I need to memorize it – like a formula, a set of journal entries, or the difference between FOB Shipping and FOB Destination because for some dang reason I ALWAYS forget – then I put it on a note card.

When I sit down to study, before I start the next module, I flip through the note cards and scan my pages of summary notes as a refresher.

On some sections, it is honestly so boring or I already half-know the topic, so I skip the lecture and speed read the book, jotting down a few notes as I go. I can always go back and add to my notes when I do the MCQs if I missed something. It helps me not to get stuck on a section and keep moving forward.
