hi everybody,
I just started studying for FAR with Becker, he didn’t mention anything about the 2018 changes ,and I have no clue ,I was planing to write the exam on Jan….
What do u recommend me doing?

There are 3 types of changes happening – none of which you should be materially worried about.

1) new pronouncements tested – happens twice a year – no big deal

No big deal.

3) Changes to the exam UI – the way the exam looks – concepts tested are the same – no big deal.

Hi Jeff. I'm using an older version of Becker material-2014 edition-.Are they major changes that I need to worry about for the FAR exam.I'm planning to take the test in February-18.

“Revenue Recognition” will be the major change in FAR content , I sent an email to Becker regarding this , they advised me to switch versions once it becomes available Which will be in November because it's a substantial part of the FAR exam & its tested at the application and analysis level.

F4 : M1
F7 : M1 & M2

You can study the rest till they update it, hopefully by the end of this month
