I spent allllllll weekend cramming for my far exam that was supposed to be today. I took off work and got to the center early, only to find out that they aren’t going to let anyone take their exams today because of some construction going on.

I am so deflated because of this. My brain is fried and I just want to get this exam over with. Now I have to wait until Saturday and somehow retain all this information. My note cards and study materials are a mess from my final review… I’m super busy at work, and I just don’t know how I’m going to be able to put in the time I need to keep everything fresh. Not to mention that I’m losing a week off of my AUD study time. Not cool.

4/4 in 10 months while working full time and having a wife and kid. It can be done!

oh that totally sucks! I had something similar happen to me a few years ago. I had been studying and cramming to sit for the state test for tax practitioner's. The exam was in December and lo and behold, we had a big snow storm come through and it was cancelled! Rescheduled for the next week. Stay positive, you can do this!!! This may be the week from hell but keep thinking about your goal….. There's a light at the end of tunnel somewhere……..

They really should have given you some warning. WTH!! Construction isn't like a blizzard or whatever. They generally know when it's going to happen.

I had an appointment for AUD a couple months ago that got cancelled because of loud construction. They sent me an email and a canned voice message on a Friday night, when my appointment was on a Tuesday. I was rather annoyed with that since I wasn't sure if I could get anyone on the phone on the weekend to change the appointment for free. I didn't want to pay the cancellation fee or whatever. I wanted to take the exam as soon as possible because I needed to study for BEC pronto. Was going to do a rush job for BEC. Luckily I got an appointment for the original day at a different Prometric center.

I took my REG exam the day before my NTS expired. Would have really sucked if they had cancelled that one!
