So I am taking FAR on Nov 26, moving the test back is not an option. I am using Becker and just started FAR 7. I moved through the first units too slowly and am worried about being ready in time for the test. Right now my study strategy is as follows:
-Read module, looking at annotated notes.
-Watch some of the Lecture if I am struggling.
-Then do the MCQ for that module and take notes on wrong questions. I do not do the skills practice
-Ive skipped almost all the SIMs
    -repeat
I have not done any review on old units yet. I am wondering what the best strategy is going forward to be in the best shape for the test. My schedule is rather open as I am student.
So im looking at about 10 days left to study (not including thanksgiving). Right now I am thinking of going through Ch 7-10 quickly (hopefully in 5 days, leaving 5 days to review). Then hammering MCQs and doing the mock exams for 5 days. I will be on break for those 5 days so I have all day for CPA.
Another option I am considering is doing FAR 7 and 8 (2 days), skipping governmental (FAR 9-10). Then hammering MCQ and doing governmental for 1-2 days before the test. My reasoning is that it is 2 chapters of Becker (20%) but only 5-15% of the actual test.
Im open to any suggestions. I did buy ninja and plan on using it for MCQs. When reviewing, is it best to us ninja or becker exclusively or a bit of both? Does one provide better metrics or tailor the questions to your weak areas? I also have the Becker Final review and wondering about opinions on using that?
Thank you for reading! and I hope this can help other candidates as well.

I wouldn't go light on governmental and not for profit as it's tested way more than most people think based on that stupid 5-15% number. It's also easy points as those questions aren't that complicated if you sufficiently reviewed the material. I would get through the rest of the material you haven't covered and do the MCQ's for them as fast as you can. 10 days is normally the minimum required time for review, IMO. You're not in a great position not having finished the material yet with 10 days left. Once you are on to the review phase hammer the MCQ's, identifying concepts you aren't good at and then hammer specifically those concepts until you are good at them. Don't just do mock exams and questions from all topics as it's a waste of time answering questions on topics you are already confident in. You really need to focus the review on your weak areas and eliminating them as weak areas. If you are worried about time management I'd do one mock exam to practice that aspect as that's all they are good for, IMO.

edit: Don't forget the AICPA practice exam. It should only take about 30 minutes and it's well worth it.

I’d save my money and reschedule if you’re not on a deadline. Just being honest. I found myself in a similar position for FAR (not nearly as bad) and i moved my test back. FAR is a beast, and you’re way behind. SIMs are a huge part, and you haven’t done many. Also governmental and NFP is a decent part of the exam. Refocus, and stay on top of your study schedule. That’s the key to passing. Good luck.
