I’m scheduled to take my FAR test December 4th. I’ve already looked at maybe pushing it back to December 10th, however, there are currently no test dates available for that date.

I’m going back through my Becker material and going chapter by chapter through my flashcards and taking multiple progress tests to try to help cement the information. I add some ninja questions to the mix as well just on the current Becker chapters I’m looking at.

I know I have 2 1/2 weeks to get though the material but I feel like I’m never going to make it! I’m wondering if I shouldn’t push my test back until January 15th and give myself more time to comprehend and really master the material. I just feel like right now if I take the exam as scheduled on the 4th I’m just going to have to retake it.

The other problem with this that has me a little stressed is if I don’t pass FAR and REG by the end of April, I lose BEC and have to take that one again.

Do I just keep trekking and take the exam 12/4 as what do I really have to lose other than the $300 it costs to sit for these things? or do I push it back to January?

Keep your date and sit for the exam, even if its just for the experience.
You'll find out on Dec19th if you passed, and then can sit again in January.
Keep on trucking and hope for the best.

If it were me, I would keep looking for a later test date like Dec 10th and I would take it in Dec no matter what. I would do this for two reasons:

1. I would get a feel for the exam/get an indication of where I stand

2. If I didn't I would procrastinate until a couple weeks before the exam and be in the same boat come Jan

In my opinion, figure out the finances and take it in Dec. If you don't pass, schedule another for Jan. That gives you two shots at passing FAR and 1-2 for REG before you lose BEC.

I'm in the same boat. My exam is 12/7 and I will finish the Becker book tomorrow. I don't feel as though I will be ready for the exam. However, you can get a lot accomplished in 2.5 weeks. Just keep going. If nothing else, it will be a good benchmark. And look on th bright side, we will know our scores in 2 weeks 😃.

Definitely keep working! There is still a lot of time between now and your test. Keep working and I'm sure you'll feel more confident closer to the date. Good luck!
