    NINJA Question –

    Hey guys,
So im really struggling with FAR. Currently using Becker. I plan on supplementing with Ninja MCQ later and plan on adding maybe the video or audio..Anyone used those before? Any idea if they’re helpful or not? (guess its very subjective) but reading the becker book doesnt really help when sometimes I dont get how certain numbers are derived. I learn best by visual.. I know the MCQ has been quite helpful and gave me a 2pt boost my last retake but wasn’t enough to pass.. Appreciate the help! Thanks.

BEC- PASS (Expiring in DEC 2017)

    REG- PASS (Expiring Feb 2018)

    AUD- PASS (Expiring Oct 2018)

    FAR- 65, 60, 59, 77!!! -GOD BLESS

If I can do it, anyone can do it!

I just started FAR and it's really equivalent to “eating an elephant”. You have to take it on piece by piece.

Also my perception of financial accounting/financial statements is that it's very similar to mechanics or mechanical engineering. The financial statement is like a car and there are all these moving parts that make it work. Our job as accountants is to familiarize ourselves with these moving parts, how they work, and how they affect the financial statements.

This thought process helps me materialize an abstract subject.

Also I have the ten point combo and will be using FAR MCQ and PLUS mostly until my test date in early September. My plan of attack is completing at least 50 MCQs a day which means I can complete all the MCQs within roughly 30 days. That still gives me another 2 months to fine tune my weak areas by doing additional research and reading the book and to go over anything I'm still not very comfortable with.

One piece at a time my friend.
