Alright, I’ve got round 2 with FAR on Thursday at noon!

I’m super nervous because my freedom and next career move is hinging on this. I literally go from being confident because I have no doubt put the time in to being sick to my stomach.

When I got to the NINJA MCQ review phase I was averaging 75% overall(not trending), with a low of 67% in Governmental. Now I’m sitting at about 3200 attempts, and I’m averaging 80% overall(not trending), with Governmental still being the lowest at 75%. All of the other topic section averages are in the 80%s. For the last week or so I’ve been averaging about 91% correct(not trending average).

Think for the rest of tonight and tomorrow I’ll keep working more MCQs and SIMs and mix in some IFRS vs GAAP only review to refresh on that, do a couple of research questions and see if I can find a DRS to practice.

For those of you that have used NINJA for other exams(this is my first time), are those NINJA stats in line with what you’ve seen in passing attempts? Anything else I should do? Unlike Mr “Rate my scores” from an earlier post, I don’t care about my scores as long as they are greater than or equal to 75.

I think I went with FAR, with EVERY single section from 85-95 and Gov't sat a LOWLY 75 or even less. Yeah I disliked Gov't as well. I think you definitely have a chance at passing. I would go over some Government J/E and also review the TYPES of FUNDS (read it and write it again).

I would REALLY look over J/E in general for all of the types of problems there were. I really think if you UNDERSTOOD how journal entries were done, it would help a lot on the exam.

I was trending 89 and I received 83. TO BE FAIR, I took a trip to Vegas, Kansas, and Chicago back to back, a week before the exam, so that that threw me off. But also, I finished all the questions for FAR on NINJA, though I didn't hit review (that is so hard).

Don't go too crazy on the DRS sims, just know the structure and how to answer them efficiently. The thing with them is that they take the LONGEST to answer since you have to navigate through MULTIPLE tabs. Do your best to measure your time efficiently. That's the only thing I can say, I ran out of time on one SIM and plugged in zeros with 10 seconds left, pretty sure I didn't even get all the zeros.

    Good luck!

Oh wow, I don't know how long it would take me to get every single section to an 85% overall average. I've got two that are 82% and 83%, two that are right at 80%, and then Governmental at 75%. But I think I will definitely look at some Governmental Journal entries b/c there are a few that have so many steps that I'm bound to forget something if I don't review it (encumbrance JEs, the J/Es that include releasing assets from restrictions for NFP, etc). God, I hope this is enough. I've put so many hours into this. Like an embarrassing number of hours.

I am trending in the mid to high 90s but I didn't include that in my initial post because I think that's inflated due to repeat questions and the fact that I answered every question correctly. I think once you've answered every questions correctly, Ninja keeps the trending score really high when you don't have many incorrect questions outstanding. For several days I was alternating 30 question adaptive learning sets with 30 question missed last time seen and trouble question sets, so I have not had many outstanding incorrect questions at all.

Wow that's impressive you had all that travel so close to the exam! No way I could do that lol. I had to go to Florida for a conference 3 weeks ago and that was too close to the exam for my own comfort haha.

Ughhhh the DRS…..I wish I would have taken FAR before that d@mn DRS came into play…

Thanks for the Good luck wishes @hasy !
