FAR Tomorrow and feeling depressed

I’m taking FAR tomorrow for the 2nd time. This time, I studied way harder, but I don’t understand why I feel so unprepared. Last night, I tried to study a little bit more, but I was feeling too drained (I spent the entire day studying) that I decided to stop. Today, I woke up super depressed wanting to give up. I know I can’t give up, but I don’t know what to do to feel better. Sorry for the rant.

I really cannot believe BEC is giving me such a hard time.

    AUD: 80 (3x)
    BEC: 9/07/2016

Drink some hot tea, maybe take a bath. It's a marathon. While you might not be able to remember everything you learned in out of thin air, with multiple choice you'll recall stuff.

If you have Becker print out the outlines and read over them and then do a progress test for that chapter. It's OK if you don't get everything. That's normal. In the end, Becker covers every detail just in case, but for the actual test you're not going to exclusively get questions on the weird concepts. It'll be a balance between out of left field stuff and really basic concepts. Focus on the more big picture stuff since that's almost guaranteed to be tested at least once.

In the end you can never be 100% prepared.

Preach. Mine is Friday, and my head aches with the amount of information I'm trying to cram into it.

I think most of us go through similar phases where FAR just breaks us down. It's a very overwhelming subject.

Here's my advice. Take the rest of the day off and don't study tomorrow before the exam. If you insist on studying only do it lightly on your trouble topics.

At this point you either know it or you don't. If you already know it, you don't want to confuse yourself at this stage or start to second guess yourself. And if you don't know it, will you really be able to pick up on it now?

The best thing to do is to go into the exam with a clear head.

If it makes you feel better I took FAR yesterday and I'm feeling depressed

    AUD - July 2014 - 76
    REG - August 2014 - 82
    FAR - November 2014 - 78
    BEC - January 2015 - 81

    DONE!!!!

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

@Angelwatch I'm following your advice. I'm just relaxing watching TV and eating pizza. Later on, I'm just going to listen to the Ninja audio and review the JEs for Gov't, which is my weakest topic.

I know how you feel. I too just ordered pizza! Haha.

My test is Tuesday. I've studied way harder this time too, but there's just so much information. I've stopped myself a few times and told myself–there's no way–but then the thought of never having to study for FAR ever again made me keep going.

I've taken work off since Wednesday to study and have literally studied every day, all day. I really don't think I've studied so much in a week in my life. And even then, I feel unprepared.

We just gotta stay optimistic and confident! 🙂 Good luck tomorrow! You can do this.

Well I just took FAR today and don't feel good about it at all. But at the same time I'm just happy I don't have to look at all that stuff for now.

You all are not alone! I have it Tuesday, and am sick of looking at this material. I've been pounding MCQ's – 500 or so between today and yesterday.Hopefully we all come out above 75!
