Just got done with FAR and I left feeling like I’d been kicked in the head more than a few times in a row. It was brutal. Just freaking brutal. I know the second testlet was harder and normally I’d take comfort in that but…the second testlet was HARDER. And I got plenty of sims in the areas I’d touched the least (go figure). There was no love in that 4 hour package of ‘aren’t we all having fun’!

Just had to vent to those who know what it feels like.

Rain or shine, I’m moving on to Audit.

For testing candidate on a level playing field NASBA will never give 3 SIMs from F4 ,it will be like diving by zero.LOL.My suggestion would be chapter 3 ,every sub module Inventory ,Cash ,FA,AR ,Intangible and Goodwill all are potential SIM topic ( as per blueprint ).This Q4 I am a devout Blueprintolic.LOL

@wannafree appreciate the insight! I wish I had done the research but i've had to focus all my free time on studying since i'm working full time. Definitely will be sure to hit up F3 again since those items are are the core of multiple topics. As long as I don't get a Proprietary Fund CF SIM I think i'll be good

@wannabfree holy shit this blueprint literally is an outline for the exam. I wish I had known to use this rather than go through all of Becker's excessive material. I test Friday but this will definitely give me areas to focus on the next two days, thank you

is the “Analysis” column the only one that's applicable to SIMS? I find it strange that non of NFP or GOVT or derivatives have anything noted under Analysis which per your previous post, inferred it was related to SIMS @wannafree

@Andrew808 ,not to worry as you have gone through Becker's and they have incorporated verbatim the blueprint ,you can see at top of chapter.Only thing new is Analysis has higher probability than Application for SIM.

Application and Analysis are fair game for the SIMs.
Lots of people say the Analysis is an accurate description for the SIMs, but just be aware that Application fits as well and don't box yourself out.
Usually if you can do Analysis, then you also understand Application.

If you take Application for SIM then almost 90% of Blueprint can be SIM.Many people confirmed on this forum they got only Analysis.Only exception I think are lease ,Bond and Pension which has JE in application and I can't make difference why those shouldn't be called as Analysis so I practiced Lease bond and Pension as Analysis. In worst case I will do good 6 MCQ from those topics which is as good as 1 SIM.You are welcome to add the application topics which you feel can be close to Analysis. If I see JE and Calculation both I upgrade the application to analysis.LOL

    Thanks guys.

I went through becker material and rewrote my notes twice, MCQ once, SIMS once, and both Mock Exams. i'm hearing that the Becker SIMS don't accurately prepare us for the exam. Are there any modules in FAR with SIMS I should focus on or are NINJA SIMS more beneficial? I plan on making the Assets, SE, Business combos, Leases, and Cash Flows my main focus for SIMS over the next 2 days. @reckedracing @wannafree

@wannafree I was under the assumption that only AJE's and correction of errors would be testable in SIMS

@Andrew I was joking that I haven't taken the exam yet s all the suggestions about SIMs is like betting and suggesting Blueprint is like hedging. In short speculating the potential SIMs.

@wannafree oh shit hahaha my fault, you can clearly see how serious my mindset is right now. I have heard that I should brush up on my Casino accounting, which is what I took away from “betting”. thanks for your all help I truly appreciate it
