Has anyone signed up for basic view subscription for ASC standards on FASB website to study AL to help in SIMS? Was curious if its similar to reading the SAS standards for AUD?

Hello! I signed up for the basic view of the FASB ASC, but since we're not able to use the search bar, I personally render it useless.

I signed up for it in March 2017, and my access has yet to expire. Not sure if it will either.

I'm also wondering if using the Authoritative Literature will help in studying for FAR and REG. For those who have passed FAR and REG, would you be willing to let us know if you found it helpful. If you did find it helpful, how did you utilize while studying? Did you just read it like a book?
