I think I’m cracking up if I am posting this question.

What was your favorite section of the exam to study for? Not necessarily the easiest section or highest scoring, but the section that you enjoyed the most.

For me it was REG. I liked it.

REG was my favorite, too, hands down. I went right from FAR to studying for REG, and it was like a breath of fresh air reading the business law sections. Yep. I said it. Breath of fresh air.

(of course, it does help that part of my job is as a corporate paralegal)

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

Determined CPA, i see we have a thing in common 🙂 I failed AUD twice but it's still my favorite. It's the subject I can have a conversation/explained to anyone. I'm guessing because i have a strong interest in Audit. BEC is my least favorite.

REG pisses me off the least, even though I have the lowest scores for it. I think the mark is how much each section makes you want to kill yourself! 1-FAR 2-AUD 3-BEC 4-REG…

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 76
    REG - 76
I want those initials next to my name!!!!

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 75
    BEC - 75
    REG - 76

Now I need some experience!!! And some networking...

I think I liked FAR best. It was a large amount of material, but it didn't feel difficult. I never felt tricked, and when I studied properly, it made absolute sense. FAR material has also been the most valuable in my first year of work in manufacturing, in understanding how our entire system works anyway.

AUD. I'm in audit so I was already familiar with a lot of the information.

    REG - 5/29/12 (64), 10/1/12 (74), 5/20/13 (75, expires 12/31/14)
    FAR - 8/14/12 (64), 8/5/14 (75)
    BEC - 11/19/12 (70), 2/25/13 (72), 11/21/13 (73), 1/21/14 (73), 8/30/14 (72), 11/24/14 (75)
    AUD - 4/22/13 (65), 10/12/13 (79)

    I'm done!!!

Having taken all 4 parts now, I would say REG was my favorite to study for too. I also felt like everything just clicked going back through all of the REG material.

    REG (July 2014) - Pass
    AUD (Aug 2014) - Pass
    FAR - (Nov 2014) - Pass
    BEC - (Dec 2014) - Pass

    DONE!!!!

BEC and AUD – not because they were the shortest, but because I enjoy their topics more. FAR seemed like a lot of information I already knew and REG just didn't interest me, but I really enjoy studying auditing and also the various business-topics in BEC.

I don't understand all of these REG people. It has been my least favorite by a long shot. I dislike all the rules and all the phaseouts and all the percentages. Ick. Ick. Ick.

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!
