So I just got out of the testing center and…wow.

1st testlet: Had to shake the nerves. Flagged 5-6 but about 2 I was unsure of

2nd testlet: Felt a little harder than the 1st testlet. Flagged about 5 but overall felt good. There were some easy questions mixed in but I think that’s normal

3rd testlet: Felt the same as #2, maybe a little harder. Again with some easy ones mixed in. It’s sometimes tough to tell because there were some questions in 2 and 3 I understood pretty well but there were def some tricky ones

So I felt decent after the testlets

Sims: Wow. I did every Sim in Ninja, some twice. These were crazy detailed. I think I got the research right, two others I think I got partial credit on. One was just ridiculous. Hoping a pre test. The others I’m hoping I got partial credit.

I think I failed :(. I felt good going into the sims but they just destroyed my confidence

I was trending 81% on ninja while “answering correctly” 91%. Did 5k+ mcqs. Had ninja notes, flashcards, book.

I just feel like I lost my chance with the SIMS, they were insane!

Just hang in. You will probably get partial credit for your sims and one is a throwaway and hopefully you got the research. Last exam, i am with you!!! I want to push this over the edge and be done. Rest, weep, wait. Scores are coming.

@ tcohie, you probably did well and possibly over thinking it. I tend to think of the things I got wrong or had trouble with more, and forget about what I did right.

Did you feel Wiley CPA excel, or ninja sims helped you prepare for actual Sims?

The SIMS just rocked me is all. For BEC, AUD, and FAR, ninja was more than sufficient. I think even for REG it was. The issue is the test takes certain topics and multiplies the difficulty by 10. More detailed. I think SIMS are more like 3-4 mcq in one. So yes I think ninja is good enough but there's no guarantee you'll get a similar sim on the exam

For REG, the only thing I knew I got right was the research sim.

Everything else, I felt absolutely terrible about. Everything was a calculation, no drop downs or anything.

I 100% had no doubt in my mind that I had failed. I got an 82.

I felt the same way, with some possible points on some of the SIMS. I kind of feel like that whole “thought I failed but passed” wouldn't happen to me.

When I took REG I felt good after the MC. Then I got to the SIMs and I thought I was going to cry right there in the testing center. There only answer I felt confident with was the research question. I didn't do amazing but I passed after I felt like I was going to fail in embarrassing fashion. You'll do better than you think you did. People score in the 90's and think they failed. That's what this exam does to you.

@lsutigers I mean I wasn't 100% confident I nailed the MCQ, but I felt decent about it. Maybe 3 or 4 per testlet that I felt unsure of but made a good educated answer/guess. Sims…I felt the same way as you. At one point I literally put my hands in the air like wtf is this!

Sometimes I think when people say they feel like they failed they might be like those people that say that but in reality crush it.

But it sounds like you sincerely thought you did bad?
