Feeling After REG vs. Actual Score

I just took REG again yesterday after I failed it in May with a 62. I studied from September to the day before yesterday and gave myself plenty of time to study, but right before the test, I felt like I didn’t know anything. I know I’ve read many posts of people who felt similar and ended up passing, but I’d love to get some updated comments from people who have taken REG recently.

How did you feel going into and then leaving the test and what was the end result?

I honestly have no idea if I passed or failed (shocker, I know) but if I had to guess, I would say I failed more than I passed. Didn’t feel like I knew hardly anything during the test and was unsure on almost every answer.

Also, I didn’t take the break since I felt like that hurt me last time and when I was almost done with the 2nd to last testlet with 56 minutes left, I got that Windows pop-up that said the driver for the test had stopped working and did I want to close the program or try to repair it. Then my test closed out and I had to sit in the waiting area for about 5 minutes while they worked on getting my test back. Luckily, they got me set up on another computer and my test got brought back up to where I left off. This made me a bit nervous, but everything seemed to be fine and it didn’t break my concentration too bad. Anyone else have a similar experience and still pass?

Sorry, long post and kind of two questions, but you can see that I’m a bit nervous about the whole thing. Last leg to pass and all… 🙂

I knew I crushed the MCQ. the TBS smacked me like an angry salmon…but I knew I got the research sim correct, so that helped.

MCQ are always easier on the test than in practice especially if you really gave it time and effort in your review. I felt like MCQ were doable…The SIMS were overall not terrible, except for two which I had no idea about, and I knew I nailed the research one. I felt really shitty coming out of the test, but ended up with a 77….Come to think of it my feelings on FAR were very similar, we will see if the passing score materializes on 12/19…

I feel crappy and depressed after every test. I also had the computer freeze on me when I took REG, I ended up passing it.

Walked out feeling ok on the MCQ, but terrible on the SIMS. Failed with a 65.

Walked in feeling pretty confident. During the test I actually questioned whether I studied for the right section. There were so many questions that I hadn't seen before. Was 100% sure I failed. I started studying for FAR again and almost cancelled my next section. Turns out, I passed with an 86. Very glad I took FAR first in retrospect.

I left the prometric after REG and went to the library to study REG…. that's how confident I was. I flat out bombed the sims. 2 months later I was blessed with a beautiful 75!

@Hosmer, that is almost exactly how I felt when I went in. I was like, what did I do for the past 2 months? Was I studying for this? We’ll see how it went December 19th. I’m thinking I’m going to keep studying until then, because I don’t really see any way that I passed that. If I do, it’ll be some sort of witchcraft or something, lol. 😅

I felt like I nailed the MCQ but I bombed the sims. Like, I knew if I failed it would have been the sims that did me in. I passed with an 84.

Reading these posts somehow makes me feel better about the REG test I took Monday. I've been feeling miserable thinking to myself how I spent this money and time for nothing and questioning my abilities to keep going. I plan to keep studying as if I failed although really hoping I did not. I felt the exam was very hard although I thought I prepared for it adequately. Going into the exam I was confident, but somehow I forgot everything 5 minutes in 🙁 I felt like I didn't study anything. Seems like others that posted on this thread felt the same way and still passed. I hope to have that same luck! Let's reconvene on the 19th! Good luck : )

So found out I got a 74 on REG for my second time. The dreaded 74…! Ugh! Icky! So I guess I will be taking it hopefully only one more time. I am encouraged, though, that I was able to bring it up from a 62 to 74. I know that I can pass it this time around. A bit more confidence, but as they say, I don't need 1 more point to pass, I need 75 more points to pass. Staying positive. Hope everyone else who was taking REG this go-around had better news. Merry Christmas!

I always feel like it could either way. Lately I have not been getting the bounces. My exam day sucked in that I had to start my test after a 10-15 min frustrating exchange with the proctor over my request for pencil/paper. I almost started to shout after she said that she could not accept the email reply from candidate care advising me my request had been sent to Prometric. Really sucked having to spend part of my test calming myself because even though I did everything proper, I got the person up for “Employee of the Year”

Anyway…No excuses. Time to fix my real problem of not having enough correct responses to exam questions.

I felt okay after REG because I was sure about most of the questions. Interestingly, my second testlet was much easier than the first one and I know all these moderate & difficult theories. I wasn't bothered by the fact they seemed shorter and easier because I knew I didn't miss many in the first testlet.
I walked out FAR crying literally though but seems I did okay as well.

I'm hoping to finish all in Q1 2018.

After taking my 2nd attempt at REG(Got 72 on the first try), i felt tired but okay (unlike the other exams where i felt super exhausted and got a headache afterwards). Due to LOTS of hours studying, PTO hours consumed for studying, and covering most of the MCQs of ROGER, WILEY and NINJA (Yes, i went crazy with the supplements coz i don't want another retake), i was very familiar with the questions on exam day. Familiar, but still wasn't sure of my answers (Damn that exam). But i got a 92!! OMG! Was super happy, i couldn't believe it. I kept on refreshing just to be sure, but until now its says 92. This is all thanks to GOD, my super supportive Family&Boyfriend, my kindda-flexible full time job, and my willingness to put in the hours of studying.
