    Hello all!

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who actively participates in this blog. It is very encouraging to see all of the realistic stories regarding taking these exam.

Sooooo…I’m down to my final two weeks before I take REG on March 6th. Can anyone let me know any tips for this final period before I go under the knife? Anything you wished someone would have told you? Any helpful advice that will keep me calm during this exam? Any topics that you may think are crucial to passing?

Thank you guys again for all of your help!

    1. Progress test : If you can do progress test like 72 questions covering all the chapters every day for last 2 weeks then it is the best .Becker progress test gives more preferences to tax – out of 72 questions approx 55-56 are from tax – Chapters 1 to 4 and remaining are from chapters 5 to 8.

2.Focus on Tax . Individual and corporate.Tax is 60% of MCQ's and 100% of SIMS.Try to review the key tax concepts every day if possible – Ninja Notes. It stays fresh in your memory.

    3. SIMS: If you can practice few SIMS in tax it will help you in the exam.Try to choose few SIMS which covers all the concepts, work it out and review it.

    4. Try to spend 1-2 hours on the DRS format SIM. I saw few videos available online.

5.Try to spend few hours on the research like try to understand the IRC structure. It will help you in the exam and also save some time in the exam.

    6. If you have your friends or someone who can quiz you on the tax notes then it will be the best . If not then at least teach yourself or write it down in a board.Someone told me this and I felt it is really effective.

    7. Last few days memorize the REG mnemonics ..

    For example

In my opinion progress test and SIMS every day and review the notes last 2 days.

Good luck in your exam 🙂
